The Challenge Cup is an annual one day junior event which is played on a Sunday each year between junior teams from our association (ISLTA) and Southern Districts Tennis Association (SDTA - Campbelltown area association).

The Challenge Cup is for good players (for their age) who have not competed at Interdistrict level in that past year.  So this is a representative team which is aimed at developing our good players and exposing them to representative tennis.   Girls and boys teams are formed into teams by age groups of 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under & 16 and under.

While expressions of interest are welcomed and encouraged, please note that selection is “by invitation” as ISLTA aims to select its best team; the teams are normally selected from those playing in the popular Saturday morning inter-club competition.

 

Nominations are generally August/ September.
